Traction Pad

Riding on two high-performance caster wheels and an authentically styled polypropylene deck, this is one ride-on that’s ready to make waves.  The Ripsurf boasts top quality, durable plastic construction to help it last for years. Equipped with a textured traction pad, the 360-degree urethane caster wheels make for smooth gliding.

When I saw it I had to have itIt reminds me of these old school games I used to play where people rode on hoverboards. The RipSurf is a great product, doing exactly what it says it does. It will give you the feeling of skateboarding mixed in with the carving and freedom of surfing. The product is beautiful and well built and so far worth the money I paid for it.

Cons are: the wheels are wearing out awfully fast but at least they give you a spare one. I think more documentation and explanation is needed for spare wheels. My understanding is that it can take RipStick wheels but it's not immediately clear.

Also, it's pretty dangerous. When you fall you fall HARD and you might fall when you don't expect it. That's also part of the fun, so please be careful with it and don't try anything crazy at first, watch out for wet surfaces and cracks in the pavement and wear protective gear if you can.

Aside from that it's very fun and I enjoy taking it out to ride around while people stare and wonder what the heck I'm on. ;)

Surfs Up!I am very happy with my Ripsurf so far! just picked it up a few weeks ago and love riding it down along the beach where I live. If you can ride a Ripstik, this will be an easy transition!
