<p>One Direction’s Zayn Malik is the second member of the boyband, within a week, to hop on a Razor scooter after going public with girlfriend Perrie Edwards from Little Mix. The new couple were pictured squeezing up together on Razor’s E300 electric scooter in today’s Sun newspaper.</p>
<p>The young couple took a ride on the Razor scooter around the private carpark, unfazed by photographers as they snuggled up on the E300. The couple demonstrated that there’s plenty of room for two to get cosy.</p>

<p>The story, published online and in The Sun (23 May), trended worldwide within minutes of breaking on the newspaper’s Twitter and today’s full page shot netted an AVE of over £50,000 for Razor. A great result for the world’s number one scooter brand who has reported a 60% increase in volume sales year on year.</p>
<p>Judging by the response fellow band member, Liam, received last week after posting a picture on Facebook of himself the Razor Storm Ultra Pro Lo, One Direction fans will be desperate to get hold of an E300.</p>
<p>Liam’s picture clocked up a whopping 61,000 likes, 3964 comments and 1045 shares to date.</p>

<p>Up to one million extra visitors are expected to travel through London during the Games. In an effort to overcome the expected transport strike action and overcrowding on the London Underground, scooter commuting on Razor’s A5 Lux model could be the quickest travel option.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Re:creation has teamed up with Disney UK &amp; Ireland in a promotional campaign for its Razor scooter brand across Disney XD, mobile and online on Disney.co.uk.</p>
<p>Launching on 1st June 2012, activity includes TV spots and a bespoke microsite and will be further supported by banner advertising across Disney’s mobile media gaming platforms. Additionally, a series of two-minute and three-minute break takeovers, featuring the Razor brand, will air on Disney XD from July until the end of August.</p>

<p>The tie-in was developed by Re:creation and Disneymedia+, the ad sales and promotions operation in Disney UK &amp; Ireland.</p>
<p>This campaign follows the success of Re:creation’s marketing initiative last year which also included a Disney XD tie-in and saw record-breaking sales for the Razor brand.</p>
