E300 Mentioned on TODAYShow.com

August 8th, 2008

Below is a great mention of the Razor E300 on TODAYShow.com. Paul Hochman, tech and gear editor for the TODAY Show, listed some smart purchases for back to school and recommended the scooter for college students.

Razor E300 Electric Scooter: The big deck and solid frame make this electric scooter perfect for the college kid who needs to get from one side of a big campus to the other … and who doesn’t want to fire up the cruddy old car. Or who doesn’t own a cruddy old car. After charging overnight, this silent, stable scooter, with a chain-drive motor and 10” pneumatic tires (for a smooth ride) goes up to 15 mph. If the $169.99 price seems a bit steep for a college kid, consider two things: the average cost of a bicycle is $300. And then, consider what you’re not buying: automobile insurance, among other things. $169.

May 2nd, 2008

Great news! The PowerWing has been recognized with an iParenting Media Award! Three outside reviews were performed on the PowerWing from a licensed childcare facility/school, an expert and a parent. We’ve included their feedback below. Overall they found the PowerWing was easy to learn, fun and a great way to get kids active.

What are the positive characteristics of this product?

  • The most positive characteristic of this product is that it is simple to learn and it is really fun to use. It is well constructed and will last through the years. I like that it requires you to get up and move to get it rolling.
  • The physical activity that the children get using this is absolutely the best feature of the scooter. It was a real workout for the kids, but fun! The scooter really held their interest. The product was made very well and very sturdy I felt that it would last through a number of children if it were passed down in a family. I also like the fold down feature of the handle bar for taking it to the park or school etc.
  • The Powerwing is a lot of fun. My entire neighborhood was over at my house waiting for their turn. It is a huge hit and a great way for active children to channel their energy.

His father called to say that Lucas relies on his Razor scooter to get around safely. We wanted to pass this along.
